In this episode of Lost it is shown that in flashback the young Charlie receives a piano as his Christmas gift. He later gets to know that piano comes with a price. Back on island, Charlie is missing Claire and his baby while the same feeling is not shared with Claire as she is all fine without Charlie. When Charlie plays his guitar near the each he hears a baby crying, then proceed in the direction from where the sound was coming. He sees baby Aaron . He swims through and bring the baby Aaron to the beach. But later he realizes that it was just a dream and his mind has betrayed him. When he is trying to explain to Claire and everyone else that he was just trying to save the baby, what he is achieving is digging his hole all more deeper.

Again in Flashback Charlie is trying to save someone else. This time it is his band. in doing so he needed the help from his brother. But his brother is not upto the task. Again back in flashback Charlie consoles his brother Liam after falling out with his wife. But Charlie is able to get into Liam’s heart through his music. Locke informs Charlie what all he already knows. This surprises Charlie. Ana- Lucia and Jack are really getting close. This closeness is making Kate and Sawyer very uncomfortable.
