In this episode of Heroes we are introduced with Peter Petrelli,a person who deams that he can fly and his brother Nathan Petrelli, who is a ruthless politicianand an overly ambitious candidate for the next New York congressman. He tries to fly so in order to do that he jumps off from the roof of the building in alley but his brother flies nad saves him from happening of any accident. In Texas, cheerleader Claire Bennet just learnt that she is literally indestructible as she cannot harm herself and can even not die. So she saves a fireman in the fire in train but does not take credit for it. In Tokyo, Hiro Nakamura belives that he can control time and space continuum.

In India, Mohinder Duresh moves to Brooklyn, New York, where his father, who was researching on a secret project called Genesis, about genome and DNA, is killed in an taxi cab accident. In Lower Manhattan, a painter called Isaac  Mendez paints the pictures of the future. In Las Vegas,stripper Niki Sanders borrows $ 30,000.00 from a powerful local mobster so that she can send her son to school, anddoes not have money to pay her loans back. When she sees herself in mirror she sees a different image of her. When the two gangsters come to her to take the money back, one of them fires at her and she is then fainted. When she comes to her senses later she sees that both the gansters are dead.
