In this episode of gossip girl it is shown that Nate, Blaire, Dan and Chuck decided that this weekend they will go to New Haven, Connecticut in order to interview for the early application for the Yale University. There occurs another big argument between Blaire and Serena over the argument that highly competitive Blaire wanting more in life. But then Serena decides that she will get even with Blaire when she decides to proceed towards Yale instead of Brown as per the planning. Not only this but Serena also added another feather in her cap when she was successful in charming the dean of Yale to invite him to the campus.

Meanwhile, Dan gets to know that whatever letters that were recommended by him for the Yale university were never sent. So now thinks of a plan how to enter the school premises. Also, Chuck is kidnapped by a secret society, named as Skull and Bones, with the intention to recruit him in that group as his father was also once the member of the same group. Also, Nate is also attracted to an attractive co-ed. Back in New York, Jenny continues to fall more into her new job as an intern designer, which she is enjoying very much, but Rufus, his father is very worried about her and and is also worried about this path that his daughter has chosen for her.
