In this episode of gossip girl it is shown that Blaire’s estranged father, Harold comes back home for the Christmas holidays with an unexpected guest. Blaire’s father has brought along with him his gay lover, Roman. Both Blaire and her mother, Eleanor are both unhappy on seeing Harold along with his lover Roman and are unable and feeling it difficult to hide their disappointment. Blaire hatches a new plan with the intention to get rid of Roman for good anyhow. Meanwhile, Jenny and Vanessa give their full support and help to Serena to arrange the best possible celebration for Dan.

But Dan himself has decided of a plan in his mind for Serena. Chuck calls Blaire from Europe and informs her that Nate has joined with him at Monaco. After listening to this Blaire is worried as she feels that Chuck would disclose about their relationship and other details about their hook up to Nate. Also Rufus decides that from now on he would stop living as an understanding husband any longer after Alison’s previous lover calls for her at their home. In this episode Waldorf’s are bonding and making up for the lost time. In Van Der Woodson’s family Lily gets a marriage proposal from chuck’s father and Dan’s parents decide that enough is enough and it time that they should split and get separate from each other.
