Summary of Dexter Season 1 Episode 1 : Dexter is a TV series which is based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter which is written by famous author Jeff Lindsay. It was first aired on October 1, 2006. Lead artist of this show is Dexter Morgan, who lives two faces of life. He is a forensic expert in blood patterns in Miami Metro Police Department. On the other hand, he is also a serial killer who kills people who have escaped the justice system. In this season, there is a killer who is well known as ‘Ice Truck Killer’. He kills prostitutes in various locations around Miami without leaving any mark on their bodies. Meanwhile, Dexter hunts a man who made snuff videos and killed a mother of two. Dexter’s sister, Debra Morgan, is a vice squad officer, who aspires to work in the homicide department. Dexter has to hide his double life from his sister. Dexter’s girlfriend, Rita Bennett, wants to take their relationship to the next level. Rita Bennett has two children from her abusive ex-husband who is in Jail.
