In this episode of desperate housewives it is shown that Carlos frolicking with Gaby is cut short when Edie srrives there looking for him. A heroic spurt back home where flippant Gabby claims she saw him causes a wreckage passing for a crime wave. When Edie abuses the fact that Carlos has a fat offshore secret amount (from which to choose her own birthday present) he decides that it is time that they consult the professional. Bree does not want and can’t accept the fact of being out-cooked when it comes to cooking the deserts, so she brings the Katherine Mayfair’s lemon meringue recipe, even if she breaks in and learns that there is dark family secret .

Newly pregnant Susan’s decision to give permission to her daughter Julie to go out and have party (as long as she does not drink) seems strict in Mike’s eye (who is lenient towards her daughter) so a squabble breaks out between both of them but all goes pear shaped. When susan ventures to party to bring Julie back she is mistakenly identified as stripper. Lynnette can handle pain of her chemotherapy sessions but not Tom’s sentimental nonsense. She bans Tom from her chemotherapy sessions and blackmails his girlfriends from taking his place in hospital except Gabby who discloses a tragic family history as explanation.
