Blair tells Serena that she already knows the reason why she went away, and warns her to stay away. As Dan pursues Serena, they end up in Chuck’s father Bart’s brunch, who is having a secret relationship with Serena’s mother Lily. Dan punches Chuck after he insults Jenny and Serena, after Blair tells him about Serena’s past. This causes Dan to leave Serena; his sister Jenny continues to get close with Blair.

Episode Synopsis:
In this TV show of GG,
Still devastated on her relationship with Nate, Blair puts on a happy face for her 17th birthday party while trying to avoid Chuck. Dan brings Vanessa to the party to ease the tension between her and Serena but it only makes Serena more uncomfortable. Jenny brings Alison (guest star Susan Misner) home but Rufus may not be ready to accept her as Nate disobeys his parents to salvage his relationship with Blair for their business deal with the Waldorfs. Chuck takes advantage of this and they have sex once again and rekindle their secret affair, in which Serena unwittingly discovers.

About this Show:

In this GG Episode, Chuck has holed himself away after the death of his dad and has turned into an emotional wreck. He blames Lily, Rufus, and Dan for Bart’s death and discovers Lily’s longheld secret; she had a son with Rufus that she gave up for adoption whose existence Rufus knows nothing about until Lily’s mother tells him. Meanwhile, Chuck skips town rejecting Blair after she tells him she loves him, Serena goes to Argentina with Aaron despite her feelings for Dan thinking that Rufus and Lily are getting back together. Eleanor and Cyrus get married and Jenny designs the dress. Before he leaves, Chuck decides to keep Lily’s secret.
