Episode Synopsis:

In this episode Lila stoles Dexter’s navigation map and reaches the cabin where Doakes is locked. Doakes informs Lila that Dexter himself is Bay Harbour Butcher but Lila doen’t listen to him and instead causes explosion in the cabin.Dexter is relieved after listening to this new but is puzzled how this happened.Dexter reconciles with Rita after he feels new life is given to him. He examines the cabin for its explosion and finds his navigation map from there. He thinks that only Lila could have stolen it.Dexter arranges a meeting with with Lila where both decide to leave the town. Lila arrives at Rita’s house.

She knocks babysitter unconscious and take the children away with her. Dexter reaches Rita’s home to see babysitter unconscious and then he go to lila’a Loft where he finds the children fine and also sees Lila. Lila burns the place and run from apartment locking Dexter and Children inside.Dexter somehow manages to escape and Children escape from burning room.Deborah reaches Lila’s place and pats the flames on Dexter’s blanket away. Dexter questions him how he was able to come to Lila’s house. Deborah answers that it was pretty obvious. Lila is shown taking a flight to Paris. Debra and Dexter  are discussing with each other.it is now Debra taking care of Dexter and not the other way round.In last it is shown that Lila picks postcard in her house in Paris. dexter appears from shadows and firstly he gives her a spine injection and then plunges the knife into her chest till she is dead. He packs her and zips her in a bag.

Dexter continues to brood over realization that his stepfather, harry could not himself  foolow the code that he laid so he decide to put an end to all it.Dexter kills Hallows and lays along side the table as Doakes watches from the cage. Doakes offers to help him out so that Rita and her children are not hurt.Dexter gets a call from hospital where he he is asked to come as Lila is in hospital and his number was in emergency number. Firstly Dexter rejects it but then agrees to come to hospital. There he found Angel already present in waiting room. As the Bay Harbour Butcher tools has been found Lundy and Debra are called to work.

Special task force produce presents the tool with the finger prints of  Doakes that Dexter left. Doakes break the cage and is successful in running out.Lila has pressed charges against Angel and police has come arrest him.Dexter comes back to cabin only to realize that Doakes has escaped. He hears some footsteps. He hides. He witnesses two men bringing the Doakes back in cabin. One goes to a room while other one is holding Doakes. Dexter helps Doakes set free  from them and then Doakes thanks Dexter.Debra perform more search about Lila and is successful in finding that Lila is actually an illegal immigrant in US. FBI assigns a new Deputy Director to take over the case moving Lundy aside as a result of the slow progress in case.

Special task force finds for fake Id’s of Doakes when he used to work with Black Ops. The forensic results of slides are out and Lundy informs Dexter that more work might come for him.Debra is unhappy with the Dexter’s decision to remove protective shield of him as he is the only one for her as Lundy is also about to go. Dexter is still to come in terms with the bitter truth that he got to know about Harry from Doakes.The fling between Lila and Angel continues as both decide to spend the weekend with his children.Maria tries very hard to find evidences of the innocence of Doakes and produce them in front of Lundy.

Dexter arrives to station with his sister Debra and corpe of his mother’s murderer,Jimenez.Dexter spends the whole night in front of the house of Rita on a lawnchair. When Rita awakens and gets to know this she is touched. Dexter tells her that it was a very big mistake of him to involve with Lila and apologizes for all he has done to her. He tells her children that he stopped there just to give them hugs.With the FBI following him he is just not able to dipose of the body of his last victim, Jimenez. Angels informs Laguerta that they have a suspect in Bay Harour Butcher case. Laguerta is sure that none of them culd be the suspect. Angel asks Debra to find out more information.Dexter meets the foreignsic experts who want the Dexter’s files and database. Dexter provides them with the database.

In Haiti,Doakes asks Leonis for a hospital with a lab but when Leonis refuses to help him he tries to greed him by saying that he will buy the most expensive package he has in store. When Dexter reaches his home ,he finds that someone has come to his home and his slides were missing. Then FBI officers come to take him on orders of Lundy. Dexter thinks that everything is finished and he is caught.But he is relieved when he is left by lundy saying that Doakes is the suspect of Bay Harbour Butcher case and also decides to give protection to Dexter from Doakes.

Dexter has a tensed breakfast when both her sis Debra and girlfriend Lila sahre breakfast with him as Debra and Lila has cold war between them. Debra leaves for office in a hurry.Dexter arrives at Rita’s home. She not at all happy with it but still ask him to come and help her in watching the kids while she gets ready for office. After she gets ready she asks Dexter to never come there again. Dexter feels heartbroken but agrees to it.Special agent informs the task force of Bay Harbour case that all the officer’s past cases will be re-examined. This is because he feels that someone of them was involved in Bay Harbour Buther case. All of them decide to co-operate each other against Lundy but gets dissapoint when Lundy orders Dexter to meet to go his old cases and he performs as said.

Lt.Laguerta and Sgt. Doakes walks and talks about his suspension being reviewed again and what he will do after retirement. Lundy order Debra to give Rodrigo,an old drug dealer, file. Dexter suspects that the fire might been started by Lila herself.When he told about his meeting with Rita, Lila asks him to never Rita again on which Dexter leaves for job leaving Lila behind in a very angry state. Lundy blames Dexter for his work in Rodrigo’s case file. He says that was because of Dexter that cse got blown off. Dexter tried to give excused which was not entertained y him.Dexter is surprised when he had a close call with the murderer of his mother so he decide that he should do what he wnted to do when they met for first time. Doakes is suspended for assaulting Dexter and breaking into his home to find evidence.

When Dexter tells her sister Debra that he and Rita broke up, Debra suggest him to apologize from Rita. Rita’s mother Gail completely influence her and tells her that now she should take charge of her. Local newspaper Tribune recieves a 32 page manifesto from Bay Harbour Butcher which makes police think that break in the case. At Station Angel gives this news to Dexter who in heart congratulates himself as he is able to play with task force rather than the other way round.Camilla visits Dexter in his lab and ask for the 1973 shipping yard file which Doakes has asked for. She is frightened as she thinks if Doakes gets to k now that she has disposed of the file for Harry then she might loose job and also loose her pension. Dexter assures her that Doakes won’t be able to know about it.

At crime scene near poolside Dexter takes photograph of girl’s stepfather. He finds blood Stains on the shirt. He asks for his shirt as an evidence.Lila calls Dexter to inform him that she has sold his scrupture for a fair amount. Later that evening both of them go out for dinner to celebrate. The next morning Lundy addresses his task force. he says he has secured injunction so that the manifesto can’t be publish. Dexter is happy because of his manifesto task force is now off the track.Cody asks Dexter to visit his school program but Gail hangs the phone and make chilren go to bed . When Rita gets to know of this she asks her mother to leave.When Lila gets to know that Dexter has visite to attend school program of Cody she peforms a drastic action.

Dexter is listening to harry’ s police tape in his mother was interrogated by police. In that tape Dexter’s mother was informing Harry of a drug ship and wanted him to get her out. Dexter thinks that this tape might be the evidence against drug dealer.Sgt. Doakes and Debra are discussing about Dexter. Doakes tells Debra that Dexter visits NA meeting but Debra doe not believes him as she tink that dexetr doen’t even smoke.At the crime scene Lundy questions alleged victim of Bay Harbour while Angel shows Dexter where killing actually took place. Police decide that there is a copycat killer who kills only those who deserved to be killed. Dexter takes advantage of this understanding of police, But there is a bad news that until they catch him and stop him the FBI will have complete control over Bay Harbour case.

Dexter meets Debra at the station where he wants to know where survilliance camera were. Debra informs her that the camera are of use only when the computer of station gets upgrade as only then they could see the video. Rita’s mother wants Dexter to call his sponsor Lila to dinner. When she arrives Gail asks her what is she recovering from and chats about Rita. Rita is happy to listen that Dexter is doing well in meetings. Also Rita gets to know how Dexter’s mother died. When rita gets to know that Lila spent road trip with Dexter and he was double timing her she dumps him and they break up. Dexter is very sad about his break up with Rita.

In this episode it is shown that Dexter really want to get recovery from addiction as Rita informed him that their relationship is based only if he visits NA meeting.When Dexter tells this to Lila, Lila replies him that to get recovery he need to face his past. So on emphasis of Lila Dexter agrees to face his past. Dexter somehow comes to know that one of three men who killed his mother in front of him in shipping container is still alive. He owns a tavern in Fla.

When Dexter tells this to Lila she suggest him that he must face that person as a road to recovery. So Dexter decides to meet that person whom he thinks has taken his life away from him by killing his mother.Deborah and Gabriel are still going on with each other. Both enjoy each other company. But when Deborah secretly sees an e-mail of his she is very angry with him and even shouts at him. Rita’s mother is still not comfortable with Dexter and thinks that he is not right ma. When Dexter comes to meet Rita her mother ask him to leave but Rita hears it and disagrees on her opinion and asks her mother to leave instead of Dexter. But Rita’s mother had some other ideas in store. The investigation of Bay Harbour Butcher continues and the marina is now reduced to three different locations. Dexter decides that he need to give his boat a thorough cleansing but he never knew that he was under watch.

The investigation of Bay Harbour Butcher enter its third week . The task force is examining the case with some new information and knowledge. They have concluded that all the victims were the criminals and involved in some crime.When Masuka informs Dexter that he has made a major break in this case Dexter becomes very much worried.Dexter is called to another crime scene where a woman was shot dead by her husband. Doakes is easily able to recognize the style of shooting. Dexter is not able to concentrate on his work and constantly asks Doakes and Laguerta about what Masuka has found in this case. Back in station task force is not able understand why 3 victims were murdered even though they had no criminal record according to their recognized pattern.

Rita’s mother arrives at her house. There is air of tension in the house but her mother wants to reconcile with her. At night Dexter joins them for dinner where rita’s mother question him alot but he is surprised to her mother opinion on Buther’s activities. Next day Angel interrogates the wife of Mr. Sota one of 3 victims. she refused accept that her husband was a killer. When Angel asks her to divulge more details she gets too angry and storms out. Dexter comes to know from Debra that the detail which Masuka found was that he was able to find where killer used to moored his boat. Dexter’s plan to destroy the evidence does not go according to his plan. Debra finally gets along with the person she was ogling at the gym. Rita’s mother warns her that there is something about Dexter that is not right.

After Dexter lied to Rita about his hand in Paul’s death episode begins with Dexter attending his fit Narcottics Anonymous class.He got bored very early because of the repetitive stories of others,so he decides to leave. At Rita’s home she is upset but dexter promises her that he will attend the entire meeting the next day.Next day when Dexter reaches his office he finds large number of people gathered who where there to report for there loved ones as missing may be victim of Bay Harbour Butcher. Special Lundy establishes a new task force including Angel,Masuka and Debra. It is shown that Dexter is matching the DNA of his next target to be sure that he is involved in other murder.

Debra start to take interview of mo but finds it a very uphill task. Masuka takes help of Dexter when Dexter for first time sees his entire body of work.Next night Dexter again visits NA meeting where he claims for his chip.He is told that to get the chip he need to tell a story in front of the group. Dexter creates a story of his own that how he came out of heroin addiction. A dark colored hair woman named Lila starts to take interest in him and look for his dark secrets. This made Dexter run from hurriedly. When he tells Rita that he won’t be going again to NA Rita gets really angry with him.She clearly informs him that their relationship is based on his attending NA meetings. Sgt.Doakes meets Dexter in NA meeting and shows all together a different mood. Meanwhile,Debra is able to recognize a pattern in killings.Dexter feels that he has found the serial killer and now he need to take action .

In this episode it is shown that Dexter is not able to come in tems that he killed his own rother. He is in deep thoughts of this and is also worried that why is he not able to kill anymore. All these thoughts were runnung in his mind.A new crime takes place. When he reaches crime scene he found out that his mistake has lead to this murder. As Chino was successfull in escaping from the hands of Dexter he killed the witness Eva ,who was to testify against him. Sgt.Doakes is very annoyed and asks Dexter to take the pictures of crime scene.Debra is still not able to recover from what she has gone through. She is still teased by the public.Angel takes the daughter of Eva away from crime scene.

Sgt. Doakes is still following Dexter in off hours. At night Dexter notices a car following him . He found out that it was Sgt. Doakes who was in the car.To come out of her past Debra isinvolves herself in various activities. She used excess of task force which was successful in busting a drug racket. With the discovery of Dexter’s burial ground a new FBI task force is created.Debra and Dexter watches interrogation of Chino. At night at a party Dexter meets Chino where chino tells dexter that he was waiting for him and something hits dexter from behind. Rita is not able to come in terms that her husband is no more. He feels that Dexter would have planned his death.

About 38 days has passed since Dexter has executed Ice Truck Killer. Since then Sgt. Doakes spies Dexter by keeping an eye on him as he feels that there is something about Dexter which is not right.Dexter is shown as a frustrated man. That night Doakes thinks to relax and take a night off and Dexter gets a chance. That very night Dexter tries to kill a man but is not successful at this.

A crime scene is shown where a a guy is found dead. Debra returns to her work where she is being teased about the ice truck killer.Rita takes her children to meet Paul in jail. Paul reminds Rita about a missing shoe which Rita says that she is not able to find. Sgt. Doakes captures Chino killer of boy found earlier and interrogates him. Chino replies that he never met the boy while the mother of the boy has something else to say. According to her Chino was the killer of her son. Dexter takes Chino to execution room. But Chino is able to escape from there as the takes that Dexter applied to him was far too less for the size of Chino.Paul has died in prison which upsets Rita. In end it is shown that police is successful in finding the place where Dexter use to keep his victims after killing,under water. police found around 30 bodies from there.

In this episode of Dexter it is shown that Dexter is insanely looking for all the clues that the Ice Truck Killer has left behind for him. All these clues lead to search of a hostage which is identified as Debra. Yes Debra is kept as a hostage by none other than her own boyfriend Rudy. It is revealed that Rudy himself is the Ice Truck Killer.

Rudy, as Ice Truck Killer, abducts her own girlfriend to play mind games with Dexter and asks him to find her. When Dexter is successful in finding Debra, Rudy reveals connection between himself and that of Dexter. It is revealed that Rudy actually is Brian Moiser who is long lost biological brother of Dexter.Meanwhile, the cold war between Lt. Laguerta and her new replacement Lt. Esmee Pascal converts to one on one argument. Lt Esmee Pascal is even more dictorial and arrogant than her senior Captain Matthews. New replacement Lt. Esmee Pascal does not care about the evidences or clues of this case thus hampening the case even more just to advance her career.Finally Sergeant Doakes comes to one on one with Dexter regarding his relation and connection with Ice Truck Killer which Dexter has always denied of. Paul who is again back in prison tries to convince her wife Rita to keep herself and her children away from Dexter. To convince her he even tells her that it was Dexter who made drug charges against him.

This time the victim of Ice Truck is a prostetic prostitute whose dead body is found befoe the christrmas tree in Santa’s Cottage in Miami.Doakes’s suspicion on relation and connection between Dexter and Ice Truck Killer is increasing rapidly. He thinks that Dexter is somehow related to Ice Truck Killer. Whenever he questions Dexter about him and Ice truck killer he thinks that dexter is always telling a lie.

At last Dexter is succesful in resolving the connection between himself and Ice Truck Killer when he is studying the previous case of Harry Morgan,a victim of Ice truck killer and crime scene of 1973 involving his biological mother. Meanwhile Lt. Laguerta start preparing for a major change in the department a her senior Captain Matthews put all the blame for the failure of catching the Ice Truck Killer and solving this mystery. He actually makes her the scapegoat for alll hi failure to protect himself. this leads to the replacement of Lt. Laguerta. To solve all the misunderstandings between them Debra and Rudy spend some quality time with each other. During this Rudy also proposes debra to marry him. Angel, who is in hospital because he was stabbed feels good when his wife make a visit to hospital to see him.Paul is again arrested and put behind the bars where Rita decides to take her children to meet him.

In this episode of Dexter it is shown that the Ice Truck Killer has struck again. Dexter is asked to reach the crime scene . When Dexter reached that blood soaked crime scene he is horrified by the repressed memories of his dark childhood trauma. Meanwhile, Paul is changing back to its old natured habits. He is angry of the Rita spending time with Dexter. He is also suspects that Rita is keeping him away from unsupervised visits to her children. Paul sues Rita charging her with charge of assaulting him and with a purpose of sole custodian to the children.

Dexter thinks of a plan to remove Paul from his and Rita’s lives and decides to take some action. But his action could help him temporarily to provide solution to this problem.On othet hand differences are starting to show between Debra and Rudy. Debra is angry that Rudy is much of his time bonding with Dexter than spending his time with his girlfriend Debra. Debra is still to amateur to realize what kind of person is in actual. Angel and Vince Masuka ,the coroner are spending night out with each other when Angel sees a prostitute . The prostitute’s nailpolish on fingernails resembles the same kind of style one of the victims of  Ice Truck Killer had. To get to the bottom of all this and to try to form a connection between all this Angel reaches for Rudy. The tension etween Lt Laguerta and her superior Captain Matthews is getting intensified over the matter that how the Matter of Ice Truck Killer is being dealt. Captain is worried more about the bad publicity than about the actual capture of Ice Truck Killer by following all the clues.
