In this episode of lost it is shown that Sawyer, Jin and Jack are captured by The Others. Now they are in their custody. Ana Lucia ia also another on one who is arrested by them. Locke then recalls his rehabilitation with the support group. It was there that he met and started to had an affair with Helen. Although he was having support of Helen, he was not able to get out of the figure of his cynical, con artist father. Meanwhile Kate tries to hit at Desmonds. But Desmonds moves from the place and Kate accidentally shoots the computer.

While trying to fix the apparatus, Desmond gives a film to Jack and Locke . This helps them as it helps in solving partially the mystery of the place. Desmond remembers Jack as he had a brief encounter with him, but still provokes a short circuit in the electric installation. Kate after shooting the computer is forced to ask for the support from Sayid and Hurley in order to help her in the bunker in order to repair the computer before the 108 minutes of countdown is over. Jack, Kate and Locke learns more secret about the hatch, when they are being told by Desmond that why he is present there. He also tells them that he constantly needed to press the number code into the computer after every 108 minutes  or else some reaction will occur.
