In this episode of gossip girl it is shown that Serena falls back to her old habit of taking drugs and drinks. She also explains the actual reason why she really left Manhattan. The reason that she gave was to avoid implicated in an accidental drug overdose of a school friend in which Georgia was also present. Blaire, Nate and Chuck are forced to unite as a team so that they could help Serena get out of this situation and thus the trouble. Serena is feeling too ashamed of herself to share this incident with Dan about her mistake, and he obviously assumes the worse about his girlfriend.

Georgia shows Lily the blackmail videotape that she recorded that night involving herself, Serena and their victim. Being who Lily is, she also jumps to the wrong conclusion about Serena and it required some intervention from Blaire to prevent her friend Serena emotionally torn apart for good. Blaire discovers from Vanessa that Georgia, under her alias “Sara”, is still hounding them by pretending to be friend.

Georgina takes advantage of Dan’s alienation from Serena to moves on him. Meanwhile Rufus is very excited as his band is invited to perform at a concert that is sponsored by rolling stones. But Lily would be the person that he expects to be present at the concert, especially when the rehearsal for her wedding dinner party is on same night.
