In this episode of gossip girl it is shown that things get heated up when both Serena and Dan reveal that they love each other, despite the fact that both of them come from different family backgrounds. But Serena and Dan’s plan to be alone to consumate their love is interrupted by Vanessa who shows up wanting to spend time with Dan. Meanwhile, Chuck thinks of investing in a strip night club to make his father, Bart Bass be proud of him. Jenny now gets to know the secret that her father and mother were keeping from her until now. Also, Blair is devastated by Nate’s action when Jenny reveals to Blair that he kissed him by accident at the masked party when he took mistakenly her a Serena. Blair tells Jenny that they are no more of the friends.

Nate’s parents think that he should tell Blaire that he wants to marry her. while he doesn’t feel that he has strong feelings for her. At a party for the striking the business deal Archibalds and Waldorf’s, Blaire gives Nate a cold treatment. Nate confronts his father about the drugs that were found in his room, but he denies any of such claims. There occurs a brawl between both of them and Nate make his own father get arrested. Blair informs Nate that she does not need him so both them have a break up.
